There was no doubt when we chose to hire Sound Obsession DJ Services for our wedding day. Tom made time to meet with us in advance to answer any of our questions, and to really get a feel for what music our guests would enjoy. Thomas was ready to step in when any glitches happened during the reception such as when our slide show music wasn’t working. Tom seamlessly played music to go along with the slide show in a moment’s notice and no one even realized that something had gone wrong!

Also, during dinner Thomas realized that the quartet had stopped playing, and even though his djing duties were not to begin until later, he stepped in and maintained the dinner atmosphere with his superb musical choices. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the DJ and asked for his contact details. Sound Obsession DJ Services helped to make our wedding day perfect!

We have known Tom Violo, owner of Sound Obsession DJ Services, for over 10 years. Over those years, we have seen him DJ professionally many times. Based on this, we hired Tom to emcee and DJ our stag and doe where he played an amazing array of music that kept our guests entertained all night long! He also organized a ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ tournament in order to raise some money for us and to entertain the guests further.

The finale of this tournament became the highlight of the evening as Tom had an enthusiastic ability to get the entire group of guests involved and captivated. We also hired Tom in Cuba for our wedding where his versatility and professionalism was evident even further. Thank-you Tom and Sound Obsession for making our wedding events nights to remember!

My husband Josh and I hired Sound Obsession DJ Services based on a recommendation from a family member. I was unsure at first since I had read about some other DJ services that had been in the business for twenty years. After the first meeting with Tom at Sound Obsession, my reluctance was GONE!

After dinner on our wedding day we did the traditional first dances, and then once the floor opened up to everyone, it was full all night long! Tom played such a great mix of music that he had all ages of guests up and dancing! Some of our guests were so impressed with his professionalism and selection of music that they jotted down Sound Obsession’s contact information to hire them for their functions. I have no regrets for hiring Sound Obsession for my wedding, and believe me – you won’t have any either!! The only regret you will have is if you don’t hire them!

Thomas Violo has been Djing various events for my company since 2007. In May 2008, Tom took over as our resident Dj for the O’finns Whiskey Lounge where he Djs every Friday and Saturday night. He also has worked fund raisers, corporate parties and private parties since he has been with us.

He is very enthusiastic about his job and takes great pride in what he does. I am very pleased with Tom’s work at O’finns and we will continue to use his services in the future!
